Built for the way gig workers actually earn
We started Aureus Wealth Management to give independent workers the same kind of portfolio thinking that's long been available to salaried professionals — applied to platforms, gigs, and shifts instead of stocks.
Why we exist
Gig and freelance work has grown into a major part of how people earn a living, yet most of the tools built for it stop at scheduling shifts or tracking mileage. Almost nothing helps workers decide where their time and effort are best spent across multiple platforms and opportunities at once.
Aureus Wealth Management was created to close that gap. We combine data from a worker's own activity with broader market signals to suggest how to allocate hours, accept work, and diversify income streams — the same logic used in investment portfolio management, adapted for real-world gig work.
We are not a staffing agency and we do not place workers in jobs. Our role is to help people who already work independently make better-informed decisions about how they combine and prioritise the income sources available to them.
What guides our work
These principles shape the product decisions we make and the way we talk about earnings, risk, and opportunity.
Clarity over hype
We describe what our recommendations can and cannot do. Gig income involves real variability, and we don't dress that up with guarantees.
Worker-first design
Every feature is built around the person doing the work, not around the platforms they work through. Our suggestions serve the worker's goals first.
Data discipline
We treat the earnings and activity data people share with us carefully, using it only to generate the insights they've asked for.
Plain-language guidance
Portfolio concepts can sound technical. We translate them into practical, everyday decisions about hours, platforms, and timing.
Continuous refinement
Gig markets shift constantly. Our models are reviewed and adjusted as conditions change, rather than left static.
Independence respected
We support self-employed and independent workers as decision-makers in their own right — offering input, not instructions.
How our team approaches the problem
Aureus Wealth Management brings together people with backgrounds in data analysis, product design, and gig economy platforms. Rather than treating each platform or gig category in isolation, our team looks at a worker's overall activity as a single portfolio — identifying where time is concentrated, where returns are inconsistent, and where diversifying could smooth out income over time.
This cross-disciplinary approach means recommendations are grounded in patterns across many sources of work, not just a single app's internal metrics. We're a small, focused team, and we intend to stay closely connected to the people actually using the product as we grow.
